Installation & Care

  • 1. Open the pin

We recommend installing your badge with no cards or items in the wallet. Raise the pin so that it is opened 180ΒΊ. Insert the pin all the way through the pinback cutout.

  • 2. Feed the pin

As you feed the pin through, expose the pointed tip by bending the backing away and sliding the length of the pin through. Be mindful of scraping the shield too firmly against the leather, as some shields have sharper edges than others.

  • 3. Secure the clasp

Once the tip of the pin is exposed, secure the clasp.

  • 4. Align the clasp

Gently slide the shield into a position to where the clasp is aligned with the bottom of the reinforced cutout.

  • 5. Snap it in

    5. Snap it in

Firmly press the clasp into the wallet.

  • 6. Secure the fit

Some badge styles may be able to slide up with gentle but firm force. The leather will conform to your shield over time.

  • Nature of leather

This is genuine saffiano leather made from the highest quality Italian calf leather. In comparison to other common leathers, saffiano leather is superior for being water and scratch resistant. However, it is still a natural animal skin and should be handled with care, avoiding oils or excessive dirt. Each skin may have its own unique texture, color, and striations. These should not be viewed as defects.

  • Prolonging shape and wear

To prolong the shape of your genuine leather wallet, avoid overstuffing it. We recommend starting by decluttering your current wallet and migrating only your most frequently used cards to the badge wallet. Consider Apple and Android Pay to eliminate the need to carry more than necessary.

Use one card per slot and as the leather softens with use, add more.

We recommend avoiding frequent badge removal & reinstallation. Instead, consider a dedicated flat badge.

  • Cleaning care

If needed, we recommend to clean this leather with the use of a soft, neutral-colored cotton cloth, slightly dampened with distilled water.
